5 Ways You Can Be More Eco-friendly

5 Ways You Can Be More Eco-friendly

As you already know, our brand is an advocate for the environment. Our mats are made with eco-friendly material as water-based ink. The mats are also biodegradable and nontoxic. They’re also free of PVC, phthalates, and silicon.

Nowadays we should always be concerned about the situation of our planet, and everybody should start taking little actions in our day-to-day basis to help to create a better environment for us to live in.

  1. Drive less

Cars are one of the biggest air quality compromisers. We know it’s comfortable to have your car and go everywhere with it. But, if a place you’re going is close by and you can walk to it, then do it. Or even start sharing rides with friends or family who are going to the same place as you are.

  1. Bring your bags

Instead of buying plastic bags every time you go to the supermarket, remember to carry your canvas bags. Canvas bag is sturdier than the traditional plastic or paper bag and can hold more goods. They can also be used to store items or pack items when moving – making it useful in more than one way. Even if you don’t use canvas bags, reusing plastic bags is a small step to live more eco-friendly. Just use your plastic bags in small garbage cans throughout your home, or recycle your used grocery bag!

  1. Get a reusable water bottle

Have you ever thought about how many plastic cups and/or bottles you used your whole life? Plastic is one of the planet's worst enemies, so buy a reusable water bottle and start taking everywhere with you. Not only does it help you stay more hydrated on the go, but it’s also reducing the amount of plastic bottles that are being added into our world.

  1. Shop less

Whenever you’re at a store about to buy something, stop and ask yourself: Do I really need this? The textile and fashion industry discharge high amounts of chemical loads into the environment. So try to embrace what’s already on your closet or even start buying second-hand clothes.

  1. Choose cloth over paper

Instead of buying a dozen rolls of paper towels, cut up an old t-shirt or other forms of clothing and use that as a cleaner instead. You were going to toss it out anyway, why not save some money and the planet at the same time? Collect all of your used rags in a basket together and wash them all at the same time.

The main idea is to use, re-use and repeat! This way we are all helping our planet <3
